Mancha Arena
El Sonido de los Durmientes

El Sonido de los Durmientes

A work where academic music converges with the latin american and argentinian folk music. With an instrumental palette composed by woods (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon), strings (violins, viola, cello, contrabass), a mixed percussion set, guitar, and wind instruments. El Sonido de los Durmientes develops an aesthetic where these two worlds coexist, taking into account the difficulty of making a contribution to the local identity progress in a world colonized by the cultural globalization.
